A Heartfelt Thanksgiving: Chapel Workers Fellowship at NBP MedSeCamp

Writer: Angel AllegoAngel Allego

On January 22, 2025, the Philippine Jesuit Prison Service (PJPS) held a Thanksgiving Fellowship at Medium Security Camp, New Bilibid Prison for the Chapel Workers of Mary, Help of Christians—a gathering filled with gratitude, joy, and community spirit.

The event was a time for fun games, heartfelt sharing, and inspiring performances, all in the spirit of thanksgiving. Beyond the laughter and camaraderie, the fellowship highlighted the vital role of faith and service in uplifting the lives of those within prison walls.

For PJPS, this gathering was more than just a celebration—it was a powerful reminder of our mission to rebuild lives, rekindle hope, and restore dignity to the corrections community.
