Last weekend, we marked a meaningful milestone in the PJPS Scholarship Program—we concluded the four formal formation sessions for our scholars and their parents or guardians, inspired by the Four Weeks of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius.
Formation in PJPS goes beyond financial assistance. It is about shaping hearts, deepening faith, and strengthening families.
With the generosity of our partners, we held face-to-face formation sessions in different regions:
North Group – in partnership with the Religious of the Virgin Mary and Xavier School San Juan
South Group – with Daughters of the Virgin Mary Immaculate School
Davao Group – together with the Diocese of Tagum and Ateneo de Davao University
Iloilo Group (launched this year!) – in partnership with the Diocese of Jaro and Ateneo de Iloilo
Virtual Group – made possible through the dedication of Ms. Joan Barlis and our committed Virtual PJPS Volunteers
From North to South, from Mindanao to Visayas, and even online, one thing became clear: when generous hearts come together, grace multiplies.
Parents reflected alongside their children. Scholars deepened their awareness of God’s love, healing, and call to mission. Volunteers and partners offered not only time, but presence.
We are all blessed, and we likewise become a blessing to others.
This March, the journey continues with our Ignatian retreat and recollection. May the God who has begun this good work bring it to fulfillment.
Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam.
Help us continue forming hearts and transforming lives.
