Scholarship Program Year End Ceremony 2026

On April 12, 2026, the Multipurpose Hall of St. Joseph the Worker Chapel in South Greenheights Village, Putatan, Muntinlupa City became a place of joy, gratitude, and celebration as the Philippine Jesuit Prison Service Foundation, Inc. (PJPS) gathered its scholars, families, volunteers, and benefactors for the Scholarship Program Year End Ceremony 2026.

More than a culminating activity for School Year 2025 to 2026, the gathering was a testament to what hope, perseverance, and compassionate accompaniment can achieve.

This year, PJPS proudly celebrated the achievements of 28 graduating scholars. Seven completed their elementary education, six graduated from junior high school, three completed senior high school, three finished their Technical Vocational Livelihood program at Xavier School Nuvali, and nine successfully earned their college degrees. 🎓

Behind every diploma is a story of resilience.

Many of our college graduates began their journey with PJPS as early as 2009. Through the years, they faced challenges that could have easily prevented them from pursuing their education. Yet, with determination, family support, and the generosity of countless donors and volunteers, they continued moving forward one school year at a time.

This year’s college graduates completed degrees in Political Science, Elementary Education, Information Technology, Fine Arts major in Visual Communication, Business Administration major in Marketing Management, Hospitality Management, and Accountancy from institutions such as Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa, Eulogio "Amang" Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology Manila Campus, STI College Las Piñas Campus, and Lyceum of Alabang.

Their success is not theirs alone.

It belongs to every parent and guardian who sacrificed for their child's future. It belongs to every volunteer who devoted time and energy to accompany scholars through their educational journey. It belongs to every benefactor whose generosity helped transform uncertainty into opportunity.

Most importantly, it belongs to a community that believes education is one of the most powerful ways to restore dignity, strengthen families, and create pathways toward a brighter future.

As each scholar walked across the stage, they carried not only a certificate of achievement but also the hopes of their families and communities. Their accomplishments remind us that when people are given the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream, transformation becomes possible.

The Scholarship Program continues to be one of PJPS' ways of breaking cycles of poverty and creating opportunities for children and families connected to the prison ministry. Through education, we help build a future where hope is stronger than hardship and where dreams are given the chance to flourish.

Today, we celebrate our graduates. Tomorrow, we continue the mission.

To our scholars, thank you for inspiring us with your perseverance.

To our volunteers and benefactors, thank you for making these stories of success possible.

Together, we continue to open doors, transform lives, and build a future filled with hope.

Help us support more scholars in achieving their dreams. Your generosity can help provide educational assistance, school supplies, and opportunities for a brighter future.

Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam!
