There’s something deeply comforting about being in the presence of Jesuits and those who aspire to join their ranks. Last night, PJPS was invited to the Loyola House of Studies at Ateneo de Manila University for a fellowship night with the Jesuit formands. It was an evening that reminded me why we do what we do—the mission, the community, and the shared desire to serve.
We began with a Mass celebrated by Fr. RB Hizon, SJ, a familiar name to PJPS, as he once served with us back in 2002. Seeing him preside felt like a full-circle moment, a quiet reminder of how deeply connected our journeys are within this ministry.
After the Mass, we gathered for dinner and conversations. The room was filled with laughter, stories, and the kind of warmth that only comes from being in the company of people who share the same calling. We talked about our work, our experiences, and even the simple joys that keep us going. In that moment, I saw in their eyes the same fire that fuels our mission in PJPS—the desire to serve, to listen, and to walk with others, especially those in the margins.

Thank you to the Jesuit fathers and brothers for welcoming us so warmly and for a truly meaningful night. It was a joy to share a meal and a moment of fraternity with you all. May your journey continue to be guided by faith and purpose.
Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam!
