Xavier School Nuvali Grade 9 Students Encounter Hope Through PJPS PRLs

Xavier School Nuvali | Grade 9 Service Interaction with PRLs

February 5 & 10, 2026 | PJPS Office

To form students as men and women of Conscience, Character, and Compassion, Xavier School Nuvali’s Campus Ministry and Service Office (CMSO) organized a Grade 9 Service Interaction and Recollection entitled “Behind Bars.” Held at the PJPS Office on February 5 and 10, 2026, the activity invited students into a meaningful encounter with Persons Restored of Liberty (PRLs).

Through honest conversations, storytelling, and reflection, students were given the opportunity to look beyond stereotypes and understand the real-life journeys of people who have experienced incarceration and are now rebuilding their lives. What unfolded was more than a service activity, it was a space of learning, empathy, and transformation.

The interaction challenged students to see with greater compassion, to listen with open hearts, and to reflect on their own values and choices. For many, it was a powerful reminder that every person carries a story, and that redemption, growth, and second chances are possible.

PJPS is deeply grateful to Xavier School Nuvali for walking with us in shaping young people who are not only academically excellent, but also socially aware, morally grounded, and committed to justice and mercy.

Together, we continue to build bridges of understanding where faith, education, and restorative hope meet.

Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam!
